Chris Anne Bennett, APRN
As a Family Nurse Practitioner in her own clinical practice, Alaska Functional Medicine Clinic, Chris Anne focuses on comprehensive patient care, striving to uncover the source of health problems that may be producing symptoms. She finds empowering patients to reach individual health goals highly rewarding. Various modalities utilized include but are not limited to education, nutrition both IV and oral, toxic metal evaluation and detoxification, hormone balance through bio-identical hormones, and lifestyle choices.
Chris Anne began her nursing career in Minneapolis, Minnesota at an alternative medical clinic. Two years later, she was instrumental in planning and operating an additional alternative medical clinic, where she was clinical director. There she collaborated with the medical director in planning personalized patient care, and implementing therapies focusing on allergies, fatigue, fibromyalgia, degenerative illnesses, nutrition and heavy metal detoxification.
Chris Anne earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Minnesota, in Minneapolis. She practiced as a registered nurse for eight years before returning to the University of Minnesota to pursue further education as an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN). She is board certified in Family Practice Nursing.
Her professional affiliations include Alaska Nurse Practitioners Association and former member of the Minnesota Holistic Nurses Association and EPD Society.
Born in Alaska, Chris Anne returned in 2005 and has a thorough love for this great state. She enjoys many outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, hiking, camping and bicycling. She also enjoys cooking and developing new recipes for specialty diets, reading and music. She is married, has two grown children and is a grandmother.
Ashely Wee, Aesthetic Nurse Injector
Ashley is a registered nurse who shares her time between the emergency room and the injection room. She was born and raised in Anchorage, Ak and has completed all her degrees through UAA; She is projected to graduate in May of 2024 to pursue a career as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Ashley loves to spend her time outdoors, hiking, biking, and scuba diving! Ashley’s favorite services are Hyper-dilute Neck, Jawline filler and of course, Lips! Greyson Holohan, Aesthetic Nurse Injector
Greyson is a registered nurse and certified injector. He was a phlebotomist at Providence Intensive care unit and he volunteered at Alaska Health Fair prior to joining us. Greyson plans on going back to school at UAA to become a Nurse Practitioner to pursue a career in functional medicine. When Greyson isn’t here he could be hiking with his dog, Astro; skiing, lifting weights and doing yoga. He has always had an interest in aesthetics being that his mom is a hairdresser and he grew up in salons. Greyson was born and raised in Willow, Ak and he graduated high school with an Associates in Arts from Ak Middle College. His favorite services are Liquid Nose jobs, Kybella, Lips, and Cheeks. Kristen T. Russell, Licensed Master Esthetician
Kristen is a Licensed Master Esthetician, trained in medical aesthetics, Eminence Organic Skincare, Skin Nutritional Therapy and Certified in Holistic Skin Care as well. She began her aesthetic journey searching for the root cause of her own skin concerns in Denver Colorado . This led to her going to school in Salt Lake, UT to become a LME. After finishing school she then moved back to Soldotna, AK and opened her own practice in Esthetics. Kristen joined us shortly after moving back to Alaska. When she isn’t offering her expertise, Kristen enjoys teaching and doing yoga, going out with friends, and scaling mountains with her dog, Harper. Olivia Paraoan, Licensed Esthetician, Permanent Make up Artist
Olivia is a Licensed Esthetician and Permanent Make Up Artist. She has been interested in the Spa and Aesthetic industry since she was young, in High School she took a special interest in make up and helping people look and feel their best. After gaining her Esthetic’s License, Olivia began working as a lash technician which led to her opening ‘Ollies Lash Extensions’ while pursing her PMU certification with Heather Harvey. Olivia was born and raised in Anchorage, Ak and loves cross country skiing, anything fitness related, and is passionate about functional medicine.
